Heres a headline that would be a global hit the web over ! Apple to buy Sony !! only thing is it just might be true, rumours are circulating all over the internet that computer giant and mega-brand Apple are considering the purchase of the electronics giant Sony, it has to be said that despite sony loosing 500 million dollars last year they are by no means dead in the water, Sony have branches that reach into all avenues of media and electronics and such losses are tiny when were talking about companies of this magnatude, they are suffering though and with an estimated worth of 30 billion dollars Apple could afford them and still have 20 billion left over in cash !!
Apple have enjoyed enormous success in recent years and are cash rich and debt free so shelling out the multi billion dollar sum for Sony would not only be possible it would be strategically intelligent and might even give us a chance to own a decent Walkman again ! but what would become of Sony and all its extended family of business platforms, well we can safely say that the games and electronics would be welcome in the Apple house and as for the Sony Music empire that would be a feather in the S.Jobs cap for sure ,, oh yeah and Sony make films too and own studios which Steve would have no bother making his own since his previous endeavours with Pixar were so successful …. Apple to buy Sony what a great opportunity…
So come on Apple whats stopping you, go buy Sony and enter the next chapter in global music electronics mega-brand domination, we cant wait to see what happens
