Sony Ericsson waste no time in releasing the due update for their very popular Android add on – the Live View, if you have already purchased a Live View you may have already found the updated Live Ware app in the Android market along with a list of great plug-ins that seems to be growing every day, its looking good for Live View.
More important than the user interface update is the software behind this new app, many users have commented about poor bluetooth connection with their Sony Ericsson Live View and hopes are high that this update will address the issue, I have used it for a couple of hours and i must say it all seems to work very well indeed with my Galaxy Tab.
On the subject of the long list of new plug ins it seems developers have embraced Live View very quickly and theres a good selection of plug-ins that every user will find something useful from, i found most plug-ins worked well and those that dont i cant remark on as they may only be officialy for use on properly supported devices such as the Sony Experia range of Android handsets, one plug-in i like in particular is the ‘Calandar’ plug-in – its a separate download to the in built calendar widget that comes pre loaded on Live View and just as well realy since the in built one is less than functional on 2 of my devices. Great result from a third party widget.
