Never thought while texting and emailing on my old Nokia 7110 back in 2000 that just over 10 years later there would be a thing called Facebook and that phones would have a button to ‘face’ my friends ! HTC are going to build phones with dedicated hardware buttons that open the Facebook client on the phone so you don’t have to open the menu or create a desktop short-cut, marvellous !
Do i particularly want a Facebook button? Well i definately dont because i hardly ever ( once a day ) check my Facebook page, im more of a Twitter type of geeza ( http://twitter.com/#!/terminal7 ) and Facebbok leaves me feeling a little stressed out with all the rubish it seems to attract. But im not the masses and the masses love facebook . Who are the masses you ask , well the masses are the huge number of people with Facebook love that also own a mobile device, yep they are the masses and heres a picture of them { >*HERES the MASSES..!* )
Back to the HTC phones as you can see above they thought long and hard about how to make the Facebook button look nice and remain discrete then chose to just throw it in right at the bottom where you cant miss it and in fact cant help accidently pressing it when you reach for your phone, highly impressive ergonomic design i say .!
