Remember the good old Sony Ericcson Live View Heres a Link! ? it was the first real attempt at a watch or wrist mounted communication device, Great idea and looks fantastic and now Motorola are manufacturing something similar and naming it the Motorola Active.
Looks very much like its aimed at the sporty types - especially with a name like ACTIVE, it does look great though and i love these watch type devices that bring the function of your mobile to the wrist. Its not that i cant reach my phone in my pocket – i just love the whole super tech appeal af such a device.
You would be forgiven for thinking the looks of this were kinda similar to the iPod nano, certainly the screen graphics do share an uncanny resemblance to the tiny Apple music maker, i think that might be the idea though – sort of fires the subconcious into linking the product to one of Apples best sellers! krafty! …law suit ?

going back in time a bit now, heres the watch that started us on this path, the NIKE sport+ wristband ..but that only ever worked in conjunction with your iPod, really that was a first brave step into a new product universe so despite its lower functionality i guess this is what we owe thanks to for kick starting these tiny techno timepieces !
